Terms of Service

Effective: May 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Conart ("the platform"), operated by ControvArt Labs Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), a company based in British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use this platform

You must be at least 13 years old to register or use this platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will terminate it.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your password or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent. You may only maintain one account at a time.

3. Acceptable use

You may use this platform only for lawful purposes and in ways that respect other users. The following content and conduct are prohibited. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, and referral to law enforcement where applicable.

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

Any sexual content involving minors, including illustrated, animated, or AI-generated material. We are legally required to report CSAM to the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (Cybertip.ca) and, given our US-hosted infrastructure, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)

Sexual images or videos shared without the depicted person's consent. This is a criminal offence under Criminal Code s. 162.1 in Canada. Reports are referred to local police, the RCMP, and Cybertip.ca.

Human trafficking

Content that facilitates, promotes, or recruits for the exploitation or trafficking of persons, contrary to Criminal Code s. 279.01–279.04. Reports are referred to the RCMP National Human Trafficking Hotline and law enforcement.

Harassment and threats

Content targeting individuals with threats, sustained abuse, or coordinated harassment campaigns.

Hate speech

Content that promotes hatred against identifiable groups based on race, national or ethnic origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or other protected characteristics.

Malware and spam

Deceptive links, phishing content, or automated spam.

Impersonation

Pretending to be another person, public figure, moderator, or organisation in a way that is intended to deceive.

Doxxing

Posting another person's private information — such as their home address, phone number, workplace, or real name — without their consent, with the intent to expose or harm them.

Promotion of self-harm

Content that glorifies, instructs, or encourages suicide, self-injury, or disordered eating. Content exploring these themes critically or for awareness purposes should use a content warning.

Ban evasion

Creating or using an alternative account to circumvent a suspension or ban.

4. Content warnings

Creators are responsible for applying appropriate content warnings before publishing. The platform provides a content warning system for mature themes, graphic content, and other sensitive subjects. Failure to tag content that requires a warning may result in moderation action.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you post. By posting, you grant ControvArt Labs Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain it.

6. Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content, issue warnings, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are harmful to the community. We are not obligated to provide prior notice or guarantee an appeals process, though we will endeavour to do so where circumstances permit.

7. Post Removal & Data Retention

When a post is removed — whether by you or by a moderator — it is immediately hidden from all public surfaces and direct URLs. The underlying content (title, description, image, and tags) is retained during a grace period to allow for review or legal holds, then permanently deleted from our servers, including cloud storage.

  • Posts you remove yourself are permanently deleted after 7 days.
  • Posts removed by a moderator are permanently deleted after 90 days.
  • Posts with an outstanding moderation report are never automatically deleted; they remain under review until the report is resolved.

To appeal a moderator removal, contact us at support@erisava.com within the applicable grace period.

9. Copyright — Notice-and-Notice

Canada's Copyright Modernization Act requires us to forward copyright infringement notices we receive from rights holders to the relevant user. We will do so within a reasonable timeframe and retain a log of all notices. We are not required to remove content solely on the basis of a notice, but repeated infringement may result in account action.

For copyright enquiries, contact us at the address listed on our legal contacts page .

10. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy , which describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Our servers are located in the United States; by using the platform, you acknowledge that your data is processed there.

11. Service availability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability and may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ControvArt Labs Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
